Learning to trust yourself is the most radical and necessary thing a woman can do.

My work explores:

  • heart-led living

  • soul-level love

  • generational healing

  • what intimacy reveals about who we really are

What I’m Currently Querying

Gwendolyn Moore has always wanted to write a collection of poetry good enough to get published. But the idea of moving back to Florida to live with her parents for that very reason, makes her want a full glass of Whiskey. Neat.

After getting fired from her job in New York City less than 24-hours after her inner knowing told her it was time to move on, she decides to take a chance; so Gwen gets on the first flight back to Florida.

What she doesn’t expect is meeting Charles, an impossibly familiar stranger who she feels magically connected to. As Gwen gets to know him and begins writing her way through feelings she doesn’t fully understand, strange memories from another life start to find their way into her dreams.

What do these dreams mean? And why does she feel so connected to Charles? And what does her great aunt who was committed in the 60s (for reasons no one really understands) have to do with any of it?

What started out as a plan to follow her heart takes Gwen down a path of self-discovery, which leads her to the uncomfortable truths she’s been avoiding her whole life — about her family, about her love life, her creative goals, and about herself.
